Udderly Scientific

I found something really fun in North Dakota’s Gateway to Science’s Einstein on Wine silent auction Friday night. Maybe only a former dairy person would think so, but I was still excited. Undeniably Dairy swag and a deliciously delightful copy of “The Dairy Good Cookbook” with several familiar faces. The best part is both myContinue reading “Udderly Scientific”

Join the Conversation for Food Allergy Awareness Week

How many people get to say they live under the same roof as their real-life heroes? My children are my heroes because it takes courage, strength, and resilience to navigate life with food allergies. As we recognize Food Allergy Awareness Week across the U.S., I’ve been reflecting on how grateful we are to be surroundedContinue reading “Join the Conversation for Food Allergy Awareness Week”

Celebrating Food Allergy Awareness Week in North Dakota

May is Food Allergy Awareness Month, and I’m so excited to kick it off by thanking Governor Doug Burgum for proclaiming May 12-18, 2024 as Food Allergy Awareness Week in North Dakota! Orla Baxendale died just last month after eating mislabeled cookies that contained peanut.Continue reading “Uber Eats Super Bowl Ad Allergy “Joke” Not Funny”

From that perspective,Continue reading “5 Tips to Encourage Inclusiveness of People with Food Allergies”

From Fear to Advocacy

It has been almost a decade since the reality of being a food allergy mom hit me like a truck. I remember being terrified during that first allergist visit when my child was officially diagnosed with multiple severe food allergies. I sat there stunned as the doctor matter-of-factly trained me on how to watch forContinue reading “From Fear to Advocacy”
